Being a sleepy girl with a busy life is hard, so I’m looking for a literary intern to help me with social media, research, and marketing. This job is unpaid (unless you consider baked goods and compliments comparable to money), three months, for experience or college credit- I’m told I write fabulous letters of recommendation. I have a series of four indie-published works, and have various book projects going, including baller shit like screenwriting/adapting screenplays and using the words like “baller” in professional conversation to create an air of mystery to how important I really am.
This job will require about 10 hours per week focused on social media, and listening to me bitch about that week’s episode of Grey’s Anatomy and why I have zero idea why I’m still watching the show…
Loose Requirements (will consider a willing to learn basis): some literary marketing knowledge, adept at social media, interest in the literary PR field. Must be organized, communicative, like watching CW shows, willing to research, have Skype, and some form of IM. Must also be willing to familiarize yourself with my first book to get my writing style down, and understand what you’re marketing. Must love books, or at least the idea of books. Compatibility with me and my work is important, so you should like the word “fuck.” Clearly, you must also have a sense of humor. (Super plus if you have any graphic design/photoshop skill, but not required.)
Assigned duties vary and will mainly involve social media.
Please fill out the information below, and I will be in contact with you with more details, and a request for your skill sheet or resume. Or to inform you that the position has been filled- like how that housekeeper told the dog in Mary Poppins. Sidenote: you’ll be hired immediately if you’re Mary Poppins.

Thank you for your interest! Questions and comments welcome.
