ALA Annual Conference: 2014

ALA_003This past weekend was the American Library Association’s annual conference, here in Las Vegas. I was excited I didn’t have to travel, and even more excited that Jolene from Pen and Muse was coming to hang out with me and take me to my very first ALA.

Jolene got to meet some of her favorite authors, like Holly Black and Becca Fitzpatrick.

ALA_002And this awesome author, Tonya Kuper– who was super sweet and hysterical. She made me want to read more- and her book cover is beautiful. Add Anomaly to your must read list on GoodReads for sure!

The energy around people and their love for authors was so inspiring. It was truly and awesome experience!

I also met a super awesome So Cal blogger with almost the exact same name as me… Sara Elizabeth from What a Nerd Girl Says. Making friends is always a plus!

So, since I got lots of free books and I have almost zero time to read- I’m going to be giving some away over the next few weeks. The Darkest Part of the Forest is signed by the author! Take a look now… and start to bribe me. KIDDING… I’ll be using rafftlecopter.
